Bring your colonists' squeamishness a bit closer to reality!
Flags apparel as tainted only when the wearer's corpse rots instead of the instant they die. Since this makes it much easier to obtain untainted apparel, the negative thoughts for actually wearing tainted apparel have been doubled in intensity, and the descriptions updated to reflect the fact that the apparel was taken from a rotting corpse.

Does this disrupt game balance? Absolutely! But it's up to everyone to decide what's right for their own playstyle, and quite frankly I mostly did this as a coding exercise.

No, I like it exactly how it is now.

No known incompatibilities
Should be compatible with almost any mod, unless they directly patch one of these methods:
  • Corpse.RotStageChanged
  • Pawn_ApparelTracker.Notify_PawnKilled

Thanks a lot! Just tired of making half map junkyards, loosing time burnig them or throwing them away with caravans. That's just a dumb system in the first place. I want to play a game, i already have laundry duty irl ;)

@Galzein If a github repo has an open source licence you can fork it and do whatever (useually) but since this one does not have an open source licence there is not much you can (legally) do

People crying that it's op then waist their time exploiting the game to randomly down a pawn to strip them. Like thats a better alternative

is there a way to make an option to make this works only on armors? if so, can i fork your mod on github or can i make a pull request to your mod to update it? I dont have many time to work on a new mod but if it is possible i would like to update your mod.

For me when i kill someone on Marine armor i would like to keep the armor, like why would you not? just because someone died using it? but it takes all the clothes, yhea its too op

I think we can add an optional feature where some people may feel uncomfortable wearing dead clothes, and contaminated clothes will still be the same as those set in this mod

I think the only thing that should get tainted is pants or anything touching that layer when they die. but this will do.
