or, it occurred to me it could mean they played this recreation on a pirated build, rather than the original level

thanks anyway, but that's not what i was looking for. i've seen that video before. they were granted private access by the creator. i was hoping to obtain the actual level, but i don't think that will happen.
one person claimed to have played it when they used to pirate the game. i was thinking a youtuber build leaked and was spread around on piracy sites. if so, i was hoping to get more info about that. i'm thinking they were probably just mistaken..

it's a case of search engine burying "useless" old content in favor of up-to-date relevant info
back in 2021 when I left my other comment, I hadn't heard of the tutorial but I was able to find like 2 videos of people playing specifically the tutorial tech demo. Folks less popular than GrayStillPlays. Currently searching, all I can find are either from the story release, or just a gaming journalist talking over the same Press Materials trailer footage as the 50 other "magazines".

there are multiple people in the comments who seem confident the tutorial existed in the game in the past, but as far as i can tell, there isn't a tutorial level in any public steam build or the performance test, nor have any prerelease builds leaked. am i wrong?
