Imperial Golan 1 Platform

The Star Wars universe was full of different fighter craft, tanks, species, and in this case, basses. The empire had a wide variety of bases that they used for certain situations, such as hangers, factories, barracks, and outposts. This creation is a Golan 1 Defence Platform, meant to act as a defending station for other orbital facilities, or simply to act as a midpoint from the surface to space and vice versa. This station comes with enough hull strength to hold out against large amounts of firepower, yet has a limited amount of weapons that is only effective against ships frigate sized or smaller. Therefore, it relies on a heavy fighter compliment (using its massive hanger) and other ships to help destroy larger enemy cruisers. It is fully life supported, with a main bridge and the capacity to hold a small amount of passengers temporarily.

This build does not contain any modded turrets or production equipment that may give it an advantage over a player, but it does contain a lot of modded decorative blocks that are used throughout the exterior/interior of the base, so make sure you download those mods before using this creation. (This creation is based off of Awakening of the Rebellions (EAW) Golan One platform, and it is not completely accurate to Star Wars lore in general. Still, I did my best within the limits of Space Engineers, so do your best to cope with it.)
