Backtrack

Description
REQUIRES BOTH HALF LIFE 2 EPISODES (but is not entirely needed to progress through the save) AND THE ADDONS AND MAP ON THE RIGHT SIDE. SPAWN WITH NO WEAPONS.

When you wake up, all you remember was that the hideout that you live in has been shelled and that your name is Romeo. Now you must escape.

Remember, you can use heavy objects like bricks and barrels to kill headcrabs. Also, you need to backtrack throughout the map to obtain loot that you previously couldn't get. I made this in 3 days, so it may be a little rushed and unbalanced. I wanted to do something like my Bridge Crossing series again, so I made this.

Damn, I should've played this sooner, but being caught up in scripting and such...

I gotta give it to you this shit is amazing. Like, solid 9/10, with what, 3 addons? Reminds me of those classic 2010-2014 saves by BeaGhost and SNW. REAL good work here mate.

And one more thing, I REALLY appreciate the design and, for lack of better term, "events." As a level designer, it always rubs me the wrong way when people fill their maps to the brim with guns and ammo, and spam NPCs without thought. You, though. YOU understand how this works. I slowly acquired an arsenal over the course of the save, always had the right amount of tension, and only had maybe a mag or two to spare (which I like, especially against zombies). You outdid yourself, even if this is a slightly older release. Also a lot of good dry humor and an interesting story to boot. You outdid yourself this time, Monokma.

I like it, there was some good jokes, and a good story. And i liked the backtracking part. :steamsunny:

I feel like a lot of the damage dealt to me was unfair, and there was enemy spam. The puzzles were good but i softlocked two of them by accident and had to noclip.

But its a good save!
