Half Life 2 VR: Weapons Remastered

The ultimate Half-Life 2 VR weapons, running on the new ArcVR anniversary special base.

Every single weapon has been remade almost from the ground up, with improved models, new sounds and missing features brought back from Half Life 2.

You must uninstall Arctic's official Half Life 2 VR guns as they will conflict with the remastered ones.


-The pistol has been given back its original texture and upgraded with the ArcVR anniversary base's pistol 2-handing system.

-The .357 received the same changes as the pistol, now featuring glowing sights and a 2-hand system.

-The SMG's model received tweaks to bring it closer to the original, while making the front foregrip smooth to grab. Additionally, it can now launch grenades with its secondary fire.

-The AR2's model has been completely overhauled, new sounds have been added and the energy ball secondary fire has been added.

-The shotgun now has an original shell model and tweaks to smooth out the foregrip.

-The crossbow has been remade from scratch to function identical to the one seen in Half Life 2. Simply load in a bolt and it's ready to fire, no string pulling required. The bolt now glows once it's loaded onto the crossbow's frame. The scope has been returned aswell.

-The RPG has a new model made completely from scratch, made to look like the Half Life 2 viewmodel. The fired rocket now tracks your RPG's laser smoothly like Half Life 2's original RPG.

-Worldmodels have been synced with the viewmodels, meaning that an outside observer sees a VR player holding their weapon exactly as they do.


-The grenade has been disabled until further notice due to compatability issues. For a replacement, see this addon:

-The script errors visible in the showcase video have since been fixed, they should no longer occur in the live version of the addon.
