PLEASE READ ENTIRELY!!!!!

INTRODUCTION:

First off i cant explain how exited i am to FINALLY upload my first workshop item, with that being said, this is a LARGE AND EXPERIMENTAL VESSEL and it will slow down your game, i know the struggle with large and performance rendering crafts (this is sadly one of them) TRUST ME i worked on this thing entirely through it all, patience is key. so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be patient with me, the ship and the game. With That also being said this is a DEMO/WIP type of project, at least thats its current state so MUCH more control concepts, mods and changes to come in the near future I PROMISE. SPAWNING (will make addon for this, hang tight!)

in case you dont know how to use the addon editor now, ill teach you, pause your game, click on the flag 'addon editor'
add a unique location, i use creative base but you can use whatever, click the arrow 'edit objects' and focus on the ocean in front of the dock, go away from the dock a little bit, click the steering wheel on the bottom list of icons 'add vehicle' select the savannah, place it down, rotate so the bow faces away from the dock, rotate her back slightly and set in the water to where the bow is slightly out of the water, thats it go back to the overview and test location, if you plan of trying to load this thing in the dock, dont unless you have a modified build area, heres a link to where you can mod it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJxexoxUcbc

REACTOR START UP, OPERATION AND VESSEL OPERATION

ENGINE OVERHEATING OFF

VEHICLE DAMAGE OFF

INFINITE FUEL ON

INFINITE ELECTRICITY ON

(First go to the bow just in front of the reactor containment block, theres should be a pair of buttons in front of the turbines 2nd stage, tention the rigging to the point where the cable glitches away from the anchor a bit and raise both service boats)

head to the control room, its located under the 'Hump' on the stern

"Alarms are going off what do i do" DONT PANIC

1. Go to water systems (middle biggest panel), silence alarms, put ECC into auto and enable all of the following:
auto valve control, res inlets and outlets, AUX pumps, bypass pumps, condensate and hotwell pumps, by now your reactor level should be rising up to 100, start one pump (using normal pump start sequence, 1. inlet 2. start the pump 3. open outlet), disable offline core coolant pumps, and start the rest of the 4 pumps.

2. go to turbine systems (far right panel), enable governor, turning gear and select speed 10

3. go to power systems (far left panel) enable auto control, press and hold neutron start for 1 whole second, the reactor will automatically power up to a prompt critical state

4. slowly run the reactor up to 90% power setpoint and let the reactor heat up and steam build, when the steam value approaches around 135, youre all set to sail

5. go to the bridge, find the turbine panel right next to the helm, enable turbine governor and select 10 at this point you can engage the prop and select any turbine speed you want, she will travel upward of 95 to 100 knots

REACTOR SHUTDOWN:

set the turbine to 10 rps, let it slowdown to that set speed then switch off the turbine governor, disable emergency core cooling and go ahead and scram the reactor, if you leave emergency core cooling in auto, the ecc pumps will start and will not switch off until the reactor reaches a temp below 100, keep all pumps on, disable 2 pumps at 150 degrees the pump trip annunciator will yell at you for a few seconds, disable one more pump at 100 degrees, near 60 degrees, start the OCC pumps (offline core cooling pumps) the same way you would start all pumps and disable the final feedwater pump

THINGS TO NOTE:

1. DO NOT ENGAGE THE PROP AT HIGH TURBINE RPS

2. The 'toggle generator mode'button is to enable max generator output WITHOUT THE PROP ENGAGED without turbine speed loss, again this button is to be pressed ONLY when stationary,(turbine will not run without governor or set speed selected, so for now no more stupid fast turbine speeds)

3. you overspeed the turbine, itself along with the reactor will trip

4. you shut off a pump or valve, it will result in turbine trip and reactor trip after 1 reactor loop level drops below 100

5. you trip the reactor, it will also trip the turbine

6. "my pumps start but wont stay running" Make sure infinite electricity and fuel are on

7. "The pumps turn off after starting the reactor (pressing neutron start) RELAX NO THEY DID NOT TURN OFF they are simply slowing down to idle speed(no longer applicable)

8. YES there are manual controls, just dont enable auto control just as a heads up with this, you might find that if you are running on auto, and you disable auto, the control rods move all the way back into the reactor, this is normal, i will try to find a workaround for this soon but the auto and manual controls are 2 different systems so your auto setpoint can be 90 and your manual setpoint can be 0, to fix this just withdraw the rods again, there set slow enough to prevent a chain reaction runaway (not simulated yet)

9. you MUST wait for the reactor fuel to cool below 100 for the ECC pumps to stop, they will stop automatically

10. it is optional to shut off the offline core coolant pumps, they will auto start and stop for you, this is just an option(with the overhaul update im not sure about this, havent tested it yet)

11. Have fun and sail safely!!

I've tried several times but I can't get her to move. I've followed all your instructions carefully. Such a shame, I was excited when I found this model.

update out of the blue, stormworks had a change to cables' strength so i just removed the lifeboats in the meantime, she still runs but sadly still will only travel at a peak of 51 m/s with 13 fps on physics for me

Thanks a million anime, and also i noticed, 3 dislikes now I REALLY WISH PEOPLE WOULD READ THE DESCRIPTION instead of raging at the game because their computer cant handle the thing, if people dont tell me I DONT KNOW WHATS WRONG
