Beskrivning
This mission was formally known as
Ravage on Chernarus Redux

PLEASE READ

This mission (along with my other Ravage scenarios) are no longer in development. For that reason, all my Ravage scenarios are open-sourced, and both edits and reuploads are fully permitted.

What is this?
A multiplayer-only post-apocalyptic survival mission powered by the Ravage mod. Stay alive for as long as you can by searching the infected lands for food and water, whilst avoiding zombies and human threats.

Pretty Important Information

⦁ You must host the mission through either LAN or Internet for the mission to work properly. The mission can also be hosted on a dedicated server. From the main menu: click Multiplayer, click Server Browser, click Host Server, and then the mission should show up under the map name.

⦁ Two mods in particular are required for multiplayer persistency. You'll need both Vandeanson's Apocalypse and INDIBI2 for your gear to be saved upon mission restarts. ONLY player gear and placed "Vandeanson's Apocalypse" basebuilding items are saved. Vehicles are NOT saved.

Here[drive.google.com] is a guide on setting up multiplayer persistency for the mission.

After following the above guide, your player character should be saved automatically, but in order to store persistent containers (tents, crates, etc), you'll have to do these steps:

1: Follow the persistency guide located directly above
2: Enable base-building in your VA settings and place a "FIA Cache Box" or one of the tents. Check out the "VA settings" document on how to adjust the mod's settings.
3: This container should persistently save any stored items

Also, any tents that you actually find as loot in-game WILL NOT save any items. Don't use any found tents.

⦁ Loot does NOT spawn on the ground in this mission by default. You have to find loot by searching crates and furniture or by finding it off killed AI. If you want loot to spawn on the ground (which I HIGHLY recommend), you have to use "Vandeanson's Apocalypse" and enable its "Dynamic Loot" feature. Check out the "VA Settings" document under "Vandeanson's Apocalypse Settings" to know how to do this.

⦁ Open your map in-game and click “Briefing” to see keybinds and other information

Alternate Versions
These "Version 2" missions are where players can respawn at any respawn points on the map. The alternate versions have the exact same settings as my regular missions, the only difference being that you can respawn anywhere.

Thats great to hear dude! Recently I was thinking about possibly coming back to editing sometime but I'm not too sure yet since I'm too invested/distracted by other games. Thats awesome though dude glad its still working properly

Yeah dude we were using it two weekends ago it was a blast! I put down a Zeus module and everything put down a few helicopter crashes and along with ur missions we are having a great time. We stopped cause of BF6 and one of the mods I added broke the mission cause I was dumb lol. But this weekend we’re gonna give ur esseker one a shot we’re super excited! Might mess around with updating it to VA 3.0 if I get the time. Appreciate the response dude it’s a great mission!

I dont believe it would be too difficult although I haven't used VA 3.0 in a long time, so I'm not sure how different its systems are in comparison to VA 2.0.

On a side note, does this mission still run okay for you? I haven't updated it in a few years and was curious if everything still worked properly or not.
TSW555 6 aug @ 16:02
Would it be hard to update theis for VA 3.0 if we wanted too do it ourselves?

It should save automatically every 30 seconds or something like that. You have Vandeanson Apocalypse and the @Inidbi 2 mod enabled when you play right? And make sure its the older version of VA, not the newer one

does it save automatically upon exiting? or only after a set period of time? ive done the guide (possibly incorrectly lol)
