TREKORION: Mk2 Loknar Tr frigate

7 slot mid game frigate. Much closer in appearance to the Loknar class from the Star Trek roleplaying game.

Four of the Mk2 refits were built on an insane difficulty test galaxy: the USS Loknar, Lactra, Argelia, and Arronax.

The USS Loknar was constructed in sector -62:241 and served as an escort and remote green blip explorer. It was scuttled in sector -36:217, with the crew and materials going to the deployment of the first Mk2 Saladin class destroyer.

The Lactra and Argelia were refit from their Ti/Na hull configurations in sector -43:235. These ships also served as escorts and green blip explorers, with the Argelia occasionally providing fire support for the USS Enterprise on larger encounters.

The Argelia was lost in sector -15:190 to a 14k om pirate armed with antimatter pulse cannons. The attack stripped the dome off the dorsal side of the saucer and gutted the internals of both nacelles.

The Lactra was lost in sector 43:171 after I accidentally directed it to jump to a yellow blip, which turned out to be a pirate shipyard.

The Arronax completed Operation Exodus and remains in service as a dedicated Swoks farmer in the iron and titanium reaches of the galaxy.

The Loknar became obsolete ~250 sectors from the core. Even equipped with exotic shield boosters, its volume cannot support enough HP to win a firefight in the Xanion reaches of the galaxy.
