One good modder friend (a chicken-helmet-wearing-guy-all-into-guns-and-GTA-weapon's-dealer-brand, who I deeply thank) told me once I should spread my wings and try to get into modding myself one day, so her it is : My first mod ! :D So I'm starting up small ^^ (thanks to Kelux, Leira, Marjot and Bastaga for letting me use their faces U_U)

This is just a couple of striped uniforms for your prisoner pawns, inspired from the traditional black and white horizontally striped uniform of chain-gangs in the USA from the 1800s to... Today unfortunately --"

It contains one black-striped shirt and two black-striped pants (one with suspenders, the other without, both visible). It's made to be tailored in cloth but it works with every fabric (including dyed ones from mods), but ofc the colour of the white stripes change accordingly.

The suspenders version of the pants if a retexture from an asset in Aparello and westernization mod. I thank them very much for their amazing work but I do NOT take any credit for it. Should they want it removed, I would of course oblige.

I might add other prison uniform templates in the mod in the future, but I'm in no hurry : this is something I've done by myself for myself originally and as it stands, I'm good with it. However I'm open to suggestions/requests =)

About the compatibility, since this is a fairly simple mod, it should be compatible with EVERYTHING, but please let me now if it isn't the case, I'd be surprised but I'd definitely work on it ! :O

UPDATE 25/08/2021 : for 1.3, I've added a slave suppression offset to all three clothes.

UPDATE 21/10/2021 : updated for version 1.4, shouldn't appear as outdated anymore

UPDATE 23/03/2024 : updated for version 1.5, and man, that's the biggest one I've ever done... Now you can fit your child inmate with these outfits, but also with a nice little cap to hide their hairstyle in case it's too much for you ! (note that prisoners won't naturally equip headgear, you'll need other modes to force them to).
But it's also the first update in which my mod is translated : it is now available in French (my mothertongue) but also (partially) in Russian thanks to @Tkhakiro, loads of thanks to him !

UPDATE 28/07/2025 : Updated to 1.6. No no things, just the changelog. Sorry for the long delay, it was due to personal matters, otherwise I would've done it sooner.

I'll jump in and give it a look (if just to know how to translate : I cannot read cyrrilic, but I'm dying to make this into Spanish and my native French oo). As for the rest, YOU can dispose of it ^^ as I said, as long as a little bit of credit is given, I'm all for the sharing ;), if anything, I'm quite honored someone took the time to translate it ! O.O so thanks :D

Just looked it up google. its at the jails discretion. Red and white stripes meaning "high risk". The murder status thing was told to me by my father, when i was watching a movie as a kid.

So forget what I was saying.

@Elth sry for the late response. Infortunately, I can't add that because I'm not aware of a way that would allow me to do so : See, balck n white works well because the game engine considers the white as the color to be "dyed" (since ideology). That would mean that adding a suit with red stripes would ONLY work with clothes dyed in white and would clutter even more the crafting menu (you'd have 6 clothing items from my mod instead of only three, reason why I didn't go through with Mr. Sauer Senior's suggestion at the time)... However, you are welcome to make your own mod/modification using my graphics/code, and even post the linkk to said mod in here ! just give credit ;)
Besides, I'm not sure red and white were for murderers : red and white vertical stripes were used in French bagnos (cocorico.... --", not our finest hour) but it didn't speciffically meant "murderers".
