Declarator-class Battleship (revision 1)

Description
Designed as a replacement for the aging Disruptor-class Battleships, the Declarator-class builds on its predecessor in every way. like the Disruptor and other ships before it, the Declarator is designed to be a slow, heavily armored vessel that carries a large amount of firepower.

Departing from the boxy, scattered nature of the Disruptor, the Declarator focuses on being a more optimized vessel for ease of maintainance. Almost all of the Declarator's Turrets lie on the port and starboard sides arranged in large batteries, making this ship a menace when broadsiding the enemy. However, the front and the rear have only the amount of firepower needed to repel players and fighters. Additionally, the Declarator dumps any nonsense with rotor turrets, making the ship easier to maintain.

As far as power systems, the Declarator features two to three times as many batteries as the Disruptor had, all arranged in three separate compartments. Additionally, the Declarator comes with a uranium reactor for backup power in case of damage.

For survivability, the Declarator breaks convention and comes with a heavily armored bridge with no windows whatsoever. This means the crew has to operate via external view or through added cameras. The engines are also protected by having several spaced layers of thrusters requiring an attacker to penetrate through each layer to immobilize the ship.

To add to the multiple layers of armor, the Declarator-class also is much larger than the Disruptor-class (300m v.s. 200m long).

Additionally, the Declarator comes with a small hangar bay, useful for shuttles and light fighters.

This latest revision comes with expanded batteries, making the ship far more potent than it was before. Now, it has even more turrets on its broadside, as well as reworked ventral batteries, making sneaking underneath no longer an option.

Additionally, this revision now includes decoys and conveyors connecting to the survival kit onboard.
