TREKORION: Loknar class Ti/Na frigate

7 slot eartly to mid game frigate. Inspired by the Loknar class starship from the Star Trek FASA RPG.

The Loknar was designed, constructed, and primarily crewed by Andorian Starfleet members. Although officially classified as a "multi-role" vessel, her primary purpose was to protect colonies along the Klingon border, and to discourage Orion raiders.

It served as the Federation's primary war vessel during the Four Year's War, most often clashing with the Klingon F5.

Three Loknar class vessels were constructed during play on an insane difficulty test galaxy. The USS Loknar, built in -64:369, and the USS Argelia and USS Lactra, both assembled in sector -31:309.

Standard armaments were 4 point defense turrets, 2 bolters, and 2 laser turrets totaling 900-1k om.

The USS Loknar served as the fleet flagship until its loss in sector -43:290. Even well armed and equipped with shield boosters, the Loknar began to be outmatched ~300 sectors from the core, and required one or more escort craft to safely clear pirate sectors.
