Это новые HD-модели для ванильных труб.
Благодаря тому, что фрагмент трубы теперь вдвое короче, повороты стали более плавными.
Трубы теперь имеют также внутреннюю поверхность!
Количество сегментов в сечении на 4 больше, чем у оригинала(24 против 20), засчет чего трубы выглядят еще более круглыми.
Новая текстура, наиболее приближенная к реальности.

Внимание, этот мод требует ручной установки!
1. Подпишитесь на мод.
2. Зайдите в C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\784150\2360701016
3. Откройте папку "oil pipes".
4. Скопируйте все файлы в C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SovietRepublic\media_soviet\editor\models и подтвердите замену.
Для отката к стандартной модели рекомендуется сохранить оригинальные модели отдельно.

P.S После установки мода старые трубы станут прерывистыми. Просто сломайте фрагмент этой трубы и остальное обновится само.

These are the new HD models for vanilla pipes.
Due to the fact that the pipe section is now half the length, the turns are smoother.
The pipes now also have an inner surface!
The number of segments in the section is 4 more than that of the original (24 versus 20), due to which the pipes look even more round.
New texture that is closest to reality.

Attention, this mod requires manual installation!
1. Subscribe to the mod.
2. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\784150\2360701016
3. Open the "oil pipes" folder.
4. Copy all files to C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ SovietRepublic \ media_soviet \ editor \ models and confirm replacement.
To roll back to the standard model, it is recommended to keep the original models separately.

P.S After installing the mod, old pipes will become intermittent. Just break a piece of this pipe and the rest will update itself.

In the current version it is needed to rename the files in oil pipes folder to pipe2, pipe2_primary, pipe2_secondary, then copy to models and replace.

Можете устанавливать смело! Всё работает. Исчезла угловатость, трубы теперь выглядят, как ...трубы! И не только внешний вид. короткий сегмент удобнее заворачивать! как угодно....

MrKrabs, Write "oil_pipes" in the explorer search field. If you do not find this folder, then the mod is not loaded.

In the instruction, the usage of "workshopconfig.ini" was not mentioned. What is this file used for?

I can not ind the right folder.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\784150

The folder 2360701016 is not existing there.
Can you advise?

Weird bug, existing pipes look exploded when this mod is installed. Bulldozing sections and rebuilding them would fix the other sections.

Very interesting and well done.
It wasn't just the turns of fount around corners etc but also when you raise and lower the pipes that looks bad on the vanilla pipes. They did something a while back to improve how they connected but still they can look really disconnected at times.

I do hope that this gets noticed how much these visual changes can imprive the game by the Devs.

Hopefully there will not be a performance hit.

Nothing will happen. Old models will be replaced, but not correctly. You will need to break and rebuild one piece of each pipe, and then the rest will update automatically.
