Two Maryland class corvettes were built and tested on an insane difficulty galaxy. The USS Maryland was constructed in sector -104:437, not long after looting my first r-mining lasers for this play through.

She would be joined by the USS Lady Adventurous, which was refitted to the Maryland class hull configuration.

Both corvettes served into the naonite reaches of space mining a combined 3m units of iron, 1.8m units of titanium, and 230k units of naonite.

The vessel's default hyperspace reach, small turret mounts, and limited cargo bay rendered it obsolete by the time the fleet reached sector -125:382
