Description
3 slot iron starter. Intended to be your first vessel upgrade from the mining drone.

Built only one Rhode Island class corvette for testing on an insane difficulty galaxy. It served a very brief time in its home sector of -104:437. Just long enough to claim and sell an asteroid and mine the materials for a refit into a larger, Delaware class corvette.

I imagine the Rhode Island was designed out of necessity, likely by shipyards constructing Delaware corvettes, but rushed to produced a serviceable star ship with less resources in a shorter time frame.
