You can try using two or more engines placed wide apart then using differential yaw (reducing thrust on the side you want to turn toward). If setup correctly this can allow your jet to snap some absolutely silly turns.

Thank you so much for this. I was getting annoyed trying to figure out how to do this with the "attack run" AI.

One question: are there any values I can fiddle with to make my fighter do sharper turns? Once something is on its tail it struggles to escape it.
