When vert 86 is not in the leg this time, but in the hair, it'll mess up the entire model.
Maybe, just maybe, if you dont change the vert order, you are still able to manipulate the location of the verts, so -maybe- you could make the arms thicker, or something.
The way I've been swapping models around is by renaming sorc_order01 to sorc_alien (these names are just for example, I dont know the correct ones from the top of my head), and reverse. I thought that this would effectively swap the models ingame, but it just crashes on startup.
I'm not sure what you mean by 'changing numbers and swapping file paths', are you changing the file the gun is looking for in the .xml, instead of directly editing model names?
I would appreciate a tiny tutorial/guide. :)
How'd you do that? Also, could you swap character models with this? I.E. Warmage with Sorc skin
