I had the very same idea 2 years ago. I made some sketches and did some draft modelling in Blender, but never actually finished the project. Great job anyway, but I`d make the texture a little bit more TF2 style like. If you want, you can PM me so I can send you my concepts, maybe you`ll find it inspiring.
