Description
Introduction
Tired of having to deal with dozens of enemy corpses? Want to fill up your prisons more easily and oppress those who try to raid you? Want a way to easily incapacitate enemies without causing serious injury or death? Then look no further!

Pen's Stun Weapons is a mod that aims to introduce new (generally) non-lethal weapons into the game that make it easier to incapacitate enemies without risking killing them. These weapons are most easily comparable to tasers, though it'll usually take multiple shots or hits for a target to be downed. The mod adds a unique component, four new weapons with stun capabilities (three ranged and one melee), and a new stun turret to the game.

All stun weapons, turrets, and the ability to produce the Stun Infuser component are currently unlocked after researching Fabrication.

Hi everyone 👋

Since this mod hasn’t been updated for RimWorld 1.6, I’ve created an unofficial update to get it working again. You can find it here:
👉 All credit goes to the original creator Gagium for the concept and assets — I’ve only updated the code/Defs for 1.6 and made a few minor fixes.Hope this helps keep stun weapons alive in your colonies. :steamhappy:

Cant say for the weapons but the turrets seem to work. Dont know if this is intended but a waster who was trying to break out needed 33 hits to finally go down. (Highly recommend to use this mod in addition: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2602436826&searchtext=fear+turrets )

Any chance this and the compatibility patch can be updated? The fact that there's a stun effect in the game means this should be part of the default Rimworld experience. I'll try it out, and see if it works anyway for 1.5, but there's a comment in the compatibility page is saying there's a problem with crafting specific ammunition. It's not like I can learn how to code this myself, or make the artwork, either. I also think getting this working is required before I play the Anomaly DLC.

I miss this mod. I really hope there can be a 1.4 update. Would really make genenapping pawns easier.

I too would like to see an update. Like Trixie Pixie says, The 1.3 weapons will hurt the target but will not take then down.
