Better Return Spell

Description
A simple mod I made to increase the amount of time before the return spell teleports you.
No longer will return just be a worse version of the teleport spell, because the return spell now last long enough for you to go through the portal, drop off wands, buy from the shop, and get a perk.
If you think that being able to get perks, or buy from the shop is OP, then you can change the duration of the spell by editing "lifetime" within the "ProjectileComponent" in steamapps\workshop\content\881100\2324687389\data\entities\projectiles\deck\teleport_projectile_static.xml

Also, please check out my other mod: Magic in our Veins: Perk Rework. I spent far more effort and time on that one.

Lastly, feel free to edit this mod, or include it in whatever mod you may be making. You don't really even need to credit me, because this mod took like thirty minutes to make.

I could consider making a mod that contains a bunch of teleporting / movement spells, but I've already made plans to work on another project next winter break, and that's the only time I'll have to seriously work on my mods.

If anyone wants to see a teleport/movement spell mod please let me know.

One possible suggestion (though this might get really overpowered really fast) would be that Return teleports you back *On recast*. Though at this point teleport would need to be much rarer to balance.

I have already practiced so long with Return that I collect perks with it by carefully juggling back and forth, inching may way through the holy mountain, counting seconds so as to give myself as much time as possible to walk but without missing a cast so I become trapped.

Unfortunately I discovered that the spell fails if you get too far away, I should probably mention it in the description, but almost no one is using this mod, so meh.

this is what i love about noita modding. i would have no use for this because i think the time is long enough for me, but i can totally see why someone would need this for themselves. for an added tip to anyone that needs this but also doesn't think this is enough time, take advantage of the delayed spellcast modifier. it gives you just a little bit more time beyond the already extended time. throw a few of them on and you could easily make a really solid return wand for some extreme exploration.
