⋆ Before you go berserker on me for not recommending your favorite abilities or boost cards, please do know that this is only my opinion and it will differ from yours.

⋆ I am an amateur and this was made just for sharing my knowledge and helping new players improve their gameplay. If you would like to make an recommendation or suggestion, do it in the comments like a gentleman.
Overview
⋆ With 150 health points, this class focuses on supporting teammates via the Battle Command ability, which allows Officers to boost allies' health, ability cooldowns, and more depending on what Star Cards they equip.

⋆ Like all units, the Officer's class level is determined by the experience earned and time played in game with the class. Star Cards for the Officer class can be unlocked through Skill Points, one of which is earned each time the class is leveled up. Their unique Ability Card is Officer's Presence, which increases health regeneration for nearby allies and grants Battle Points. The Officer class uses blaster pistols that are unlocked by completing their respective Milestones.

⋆ One of the Officer's default abilities is Battle Command. When used, the Officer will affect all teammates in a radius in front of the Officer. When boosted by Battle Command, affected players will momentarily gain certain benefits such as increased health, increased ability recharge rates, or increased time until weapon overheat. It is a good support ability offering teammates advantages in combat situations. The Battle Command can be changed by Star Cards, which changes the radius and effect of Battle Command.
Milestone Weapons
Blurrg-1120

"Small hold-out blaster with a two-blast burst mode, named after the Blurrg, a strong and stoic ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀creature native to the planet Ryloth."

⋆ The Blurrg-1120 can perhaps be seen as the spiritual successor to the SE-14C from the previous game. Like the SE-14C (and the EE-3 and EE-4), the Blurrg-1120 is a burst-fire weapon, although it has the shortest burst length out of the group, firing only two shots per burst (unless modified), dealing 30 damage per shot, for a total of 60 damage per burst. The Blurrg-1120 can make for a very dangerous weapon in the hands of an accurate player, as landing three bursts on target is enough to secure a kill against any class other than the Heavy (and in the case of the Heavy, one additional trigger pull is all that is needed), barring any health-increasing effects.

⋆ The Cooling power is nothing to write home about either; the Blurrg-1120 permits only 5 bursts between every cooldown, meaning that the user cannot afford to miss more than twice in order to ensure that the weapons does not overheat mid-engagement. Despite possessing fairly favourable range characteristics, one should be mindful that the Blurrg-1120's damage quickly starts to drop off at longer ranges, making it more likely to overheat without being able to score a kill, limiting its capabilites past mid range.

⋆ It comes with three type of modifications:

  • Reduced Recoil: Enhanced grip with trigger guard that greatly reduces recoil with each burst.

  • Improved Burst: Power cell that raises the number of bolts fired in each burst to 4.

  • Exploding Shot: Unstable plasma that explodes on impact, dispersing the bolt damage across a small area. Due to its volatile nature, the blaster builds heat significantly faster.

S-5

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"A hard-hitting hand cannon, operatives in the Naboo Security Forces chose the S-5 for ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀its greater precision and range."

⋆ The S-5 is the first unlockable blaster for Officers. It is one of the more powerful blasters in the game and has the highest base damage out of all Officer blasters. This comes at the expense of a very slow rate of fire, meaning its follow-up shots few and far in between, and making it weaker in close-quarters.

⋆ The S-5 is best used at medium range to take advantage of the weapons increased range and damage. The dual-zoom modification can be used to reach even further ranges, although the S-5 is not as capable as other weapons, when it comes to engaging enemies at such a long distance. The S-5 can also equip a ion shot mod, which makes it more effective at taking down enemy equipment and vehicles. This comes at the cost of reduced base damage against enemy players and heroes, although it is still relatively powerful even with the reduction. The reduced recoil mod makes the blaster significantly easier to use, as you don't have to compensate for its very high recoil.

⋆ It comes with three type of modifications:

  • Reduced Recoil: Enhanced grip with trigger guard that greatly reduces recoil with each burst.

  • Dual Zoom: Adds second zoom to the weapon

  • Ion Shot: Increased damage to vehicles, turrets, and shields; decreased damage to infantry and heroes.

SE-44C

⠀⠀⠀⠀"The SE-44C was issued to First Order Officers as their primary blaster and came fitted ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀with a ruthless fully automatic firing mode."

⋆ The SE-44C can be considered to be the fully-automatic machine pistol of Battlefront II, as it offers the player a weapon with a large magazine size and fully-automatic fire to boot, making it very capable for sustained engagements at shorter ranges. In close quarters, it will be able to best most Specialist weapons as well as some of the Assault and Heavy weapons as well, with the SE-44C's large magazine size and rapid rate of fire granting it very impressive close-range fighting power.

⋆ The SE-44C remains a very capable weapon at mid range as well, with its large magazine size and dependable rate of fire making it capable of holding its own against a variety of weapons, although at these ranges, the engagements are starting to take place outside of the SE-44C's effective range and tend to be more shifted in favour of Assault and Heavy weapons. Conservative play and proper use of cover will be of ever greater importance.

⋆ For all its worth, the SE-44C does not fare so well at longer ranges, as the weapon's damage starts dropping off fairly quickly and the high rate of fire further exacerbates the recoil to the point where one may have to fire in short controlled bursts in order to hit targets reliably at longer ranges. At these ranges, the SE-44C will in most cases be outclassed by Specialist weapons as well as some of the Assault and Heavy weapons.

⋆ It comes with three type of modifications:

  • Improved Cooling: Macroscope that can toggle between two magnification levels while zooming.

  • Night Vision: Digital scope capable of revealing enemy troops even in the darkest of environments.

  • Rapid Fire: Reinforced casing and trigger, allowing the weapon to be fired at an exponentially higher rate.

DL-18

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"The DL-18 or DL-18 Blaster Pistol is a Blaster Pistol

⋆ The DL-18, simply put, is a more damaging SE-44C without its fully automatic fire. However, the Repeating Mode Mod enables it to fire automatically, though its rate of fire is lower than the SE-44C with the Rapid Fire mod.

⋆ It comes with three type of modifications:

  • Improved Cooling: Macroscope that can toggle between two magnification levels while zooming.

  • Reduced Spread: Rangefinder that calculates distance during sustained fire to compensate weapon spread.

Repeating Mode: Enables the blaster to continuously fire by keeping the trigger pulled
Boost cards (Top 3)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Officer's Presence

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀   "Reduces the delay before nearby allies' health regeneration begins."

⋆ Officer's Presence is a Boost Card unique to the Officer class that unlocks when the class reaches level 2. The card causes the health of nearby allies to begin regenerating quicker.

⋆ Officer's Presence also awards Officer's an increased number of Battle Points which can be used to spend on Reinforcements in-game to further support the team. Players using this card are therefore further encouraged to remain close to allies. Officer's Presence can be very useful in narrow corridors and tight choke points.

Resourceful

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀   "All of your abilities have shorter recharge times."

⋆ Resourceful is a Boost Card available to all four trooper classes. The card is unlocked for the Assault class at Level 25, Heavy class at Level 15, Officer class at Level 5, and Specialist class at Level 30. The card increases the speed at which abilities recharge.

⋆ Resourceful is great for players who prefer both a run-and-gun play style and those fond of securing tightly guarded objectives. The card allows for quicker recharge times for abilities such as grenades and Sentry, which can be particularly useful for clearing out choke points.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Survivalist

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀   "You remain hidden from enemy scanners when firing your weapon, and you deal ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀increased melee damage."

⋆ Survivalist is the optimal card for players who enjoy fast-paced combat and, after taking damage, want to get back into the action as quickly as possible. It can be especially useful for players when using Vanguard or Infiltration and is ideal for situations involving choke points.

Ability cards (Top 3)
Squad Shield

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀   "A portable energy shield that protects users from blasters and other ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀energy weapons."

⋆ Ability that allows players to protect another player/objective from blaster fire. It has a maximum of 1,400 health; Leia Organa's shield in comparision has 3,000 base health.

⋆ Combining both shields may potentially give up to 4,400 health (if the Star Card was upgraded to Epic rarity and without Star Cards on Leia).

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Recharge Command

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀   "Boost yourself and friendly soldiers in your vicinity by taking your abilities out of ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀recharge and increasing your recharge speed for a limited time."

⋆ Recharge Command is an Ability Card for the Officer class in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II that can be unlocked for 1 Skill Point starting when the Officer class has been leveled up to Level 20.⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀
Defuser

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀   "A device that creates an electrically charged field in a large area around ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀its user for a limited time that automatically defuses any incoming explosives."

⋆ The Defuser has a very niche role but excels when used correctly. When activated, the area immediately around the player glows a light blue, showing the area that grenades or explosives will be defused. As the player moves around, any grenade or explosive caught in the field will defuse and not detonate. This includes non-explosive grenades such as the Specialist's Shock Grenade and mines laid down by a Heavy or Bossk.

⋆ Upgrading the rarity of this Star Card increases the ability's area of effect, allowing the player to disable explosives from a further distance and more explosives to be caught in the deactivation field. Very fast-moving explosives aimed specifically at the player, such as an Aerial's rocket, will not have time to defuse if caught in the Defuser's area of effect and will therefore still detonate—a factor that must be accounted for in high-explosive areas.
