IW Tanzanite (Reforged/vanilla)

The second largest carrier in the Gemstone-series.

Based on the hull from IW Black Opal, but made wider, converted to xeno blocks, larger hangar. And a lot of major changes to make it work properly in Reforged Eden/Reforged Galaxy.
Can easy be converted to vanilla by removing all the unnecessary cpu extenders and leave four of the T4 extenders. And might replace the warp, just to be sure.

This is a bare bone edition with 2.1mill cpu. Highly recommended to add quantum extenders or auxilllary cores and upgrade with more turrets before going in dangerous places. I left a lot of empty space for adding cargo or devices.


A luxurious CV carrier/mobile base with a decent cargo storage and lift capacity.

Total storage 2296Ksu

Room for adding more fuel and O2 tanks if you use it on server.

Motion sensor on lights can be buggy on ships of this size on servers, so that's up to you to add if you prefer.

I mostly used it as a head quarter on long trips or as my main base, and bring with me a smaller CV. Able to lift a total weight of 100Kt on 1G planet. (Over 300Kt in vanilla)

Big, but not to big to be run by a single player. Does well on it's own when fully armored, but the intended use is in combination with a smaller CV.
