Description
From a practical standpoint, have you ever wanted to get off a planet in early survival play with a ship that requires the least number of parts and components, yet with enough so you can survive in space? Now you can! Spiff's Practical Engineered Solutions, a division of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, presents the Tiny Space Shuttle, a completely vanilla design with no mods or DLC that is easily built using a projector.

Ship's Statistics
- Blocks: 24
- PCUs: 769
- L × W × H: 10m × 3m × 8m
- Gross Mass: 15,561 kg (as-tested using 1-1-1 REALISTIC settings)
- Empty Mass: 7,042 kg

Required Parts to Build
- 144 steel plates
- 29 metal grids
- 1 interior plate
- 180 construction components
- 34 motors
- 18 large steel tube
- 6 small steel tube
- 40 computers
- 6 displays
- 30 bulletproof glass
- 8 power cells
- 3 medical components

The total ice capacity, when playing 1-1-1 "realistic" survival, including the O2/H2 generator, cockpit, and connector, is 8,519 kg. (Note that you can easily add another 1,000 liters of carry capacity by using 10 interior plates to partially build a working passenger seat on top of the ship.)

Two small hydrogen "up" thrusters, as well as the single small atmospheric "up" thruster, are necessary when carrying a full load to space. Cockpit control {8} turns on/off the six main hydrogen thrusters (one in each direction), and {9} turns on/off the single extra hydrogen "up" thruster; {7} turns on/off the atmospheric thruster. To conserve fuel during the ascent phase, disable {9} when it is no longer needed. Be mindful that the four small batteries have a limited life, so start building some space infrastructure to extend survivability as soon as possible.
