Also having the same issue, narrowed it down to crash whenever a tier 3 vehicle is available and you dont have either piloting or advanced piloting, no idea why it would be so but there it is, I've also been trying to track this particular crash down for weeks

Yeah, I only have 7 total mods. 8 when the one that crashes the game every time when I try to open the research because it's way out of date gets updated (that being 'Better Veterans'). And if it is that one causing the issue, that would suck. Because if it came to a choice between this one and that one; I would always choose that one. Simply due to the 'even more skill points' mod that can subsidize the cost of piloting skills.

Also no crashes for me, i'm using 66 total mods active atm.

'No Cosmite Cost for Unit Mods' - this maybe, cuz i have others and no issues so far.

Well, I also have 'Expanded Arsenal', 'More Hero Equipment', 'Even More Skillpoints per level Star Kings Edition', and 'No Cosmite Cost for Unit Mods'.
I'm not sure if any of those are causing a conflict, but I wouldn't think they would. As they touch different things all together.

Odd, I'm not having that issue at all. This mod only changes the cost of the hero skills. It does not effect any weapons or equipment.

Okay so I like the cheaper skills. But, whenever this is active, I can not change the main weapon of any hero. It just instantly crashes the game. Just letting to know if you still update this.

I have all 5 'game addition' DLCs as well (The 2: desktop backgrounds, and forum icons, I don't have, but those are useless). Just in case that is the reason for the crashes.

I'm sure there already been similar mod, not sure if it's working nowadays.
Think i will try your
