Description
Well, i wasted 2 weeks on this. But finally done it. Edit: Make that 4 with the time it took to update to BBA/Zebrica.

This mod is a even more tidied up version of my Just EaW Map on Vanilla mods ( https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1913533950 | https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2219314075 ). This time i rearranged the states to create something more playable. I put the countries on their EaW counterpart as much as possible and filled the rest with other countries. Unlikte JEaWMoV with Eaw States, i actually went ahead and moved divisions to proper places too. Navy and airforce is moved as usual, countries that start with no coast lost their navy, tho i edited the German focuses so Naval Rearmament will give you your navy back. Airforce starts in the stockpile if country starts with no airfield. It still has its issues, but this time i've not played the mod yet, so will see how it'll go.

There are still some stuff i may want to do in the future. I've given proper names to some strategic regions, but still most use whatever matches for their id. I edited French, German and Czechoslovak focuses so they get their forts in proper places. I may do that for other trees in the future.

-- Most of the new states went to the state dump, apart from 2, which replaced other states on the playable map. So no visible change to the map layout.

- Added German and French translation for Vatican and Liechtenstein's names, but not for VP and strategic region names.
- Added Communist flag for Liechtenstein.

-- Most of Zebrica is still unused, naturally due to EaW having more states that basegame now. But there are still states that i couldn't find fit place for and are kept in Zebrica in a similar manner to the old state trash.
- Fixed Baltic countries starting with less divisions than they should.
- Added several missing cores for Soviet breakaways.

- Updated the mod to work with 1.13 Stella Polaris update.

@cubic If you mean the very first version with no subtitle that hasn't been playable since NSB, it doesn't edit any state files at the first place, reads directly from the basegame.

If you mean the (With EaW States) variant, that one also edits the files in a similar way to this one. The only difference is where each state goes. This one has a specific setup with the planning map i showed. The other one places each basegame state in place of the EaW state with the same ID (like Corsica -> Everfree Forest, both State #1). The contents of the state are again from EaW, with the exception of again, ownership/claims/cores, demilitarised zones and state modifiers.

Thanks for the info. One last question; does the bordergore version not edit anything (did you copy the states directly from the base game), or did you make changes there as well?

@cubic There is little edit to the state files, other than owners/cores/claims and demiliarised zones when compared to their data in Equestria at War. VP and Province data come from there, i didn't edit much of those. What i did edit a good chunk is the VP names in the relevant localisation file, so each VP location in EaW, corresponds to name of a real city. Canterlot -> Jerusalem or Manehattan -> Hakkari. In states where EaW has more VPs than basegame, i added names myself by looking into what cities there are in the area the state covers in basegame on Google Maps and Wikipedia.

When you say you edit them manually, do you just change the state numbers in the individual files to all line up?
Essentially, do all vps/provinces just get corresponded to a new state?

@cubic Hello. This mod is currently out-of-date, tho i'm planning to update it soon. I really should've done it this weekend but another mod took my attention. This is the last HoI4 mod i got left to update for 1.15.

I have barely touched nudger during the developement of this mod. And that was to fix the building.txt related errors for new states. Other than that most of the map stuff is just copied from Equestria at War and manually edited where relevant. I did not make the whole map myself. Same thing with oobs, victory point names etc.

Hey. I like what you've done with this mod! I want to try filling in all of the states as the HOI4 countries, without leaving any left over. I'm not an experienced modder, but I have played around in the Nudge tool before and messed with the creation of new states before. Could you explain how you made the mod? I want to know how you moved the positions of states, victory points, and strategic regions; did you manually do everything in the Nudge tool, or was there a quicker way to rearrange everything?
