Description
This mod adds more then just a flashlight re-texture!


[Features]
  • flashlight illuminates the room instead of only being a concentrated beam
  • textures shine/glow from the flashlights beam giving a more realistic appearance
  • doubled flashlights range
  • doubled distance to draw flashlight beams for other players
  • re-textured flashlight

[READ ME!]
  • this mod enables 'sv_cheats' it can't function in a server that disables cheats
  • must re-launch game after enabling this mod for it to fully activate
  • must re-launch game after disabling this mod for it to fully shut off

    (If the flashlight appears small or different from the 'after' screenshots the mod is not working properly and can be manually fixed with the following console commands)

[Compatibility]
  • Not compatible with mods that contain the 'autoexec.cfg' file ✖️

@J-Money sounds like you might be playing on something that prevents sv_cheats from enabling or you didn't relaunch the game after enabling the mod o:

when the mod is working fully the flashlight radius is larger then the default radius and items are easier to find up close (as shown in the screenshots)

I like this mod! the flashlight radius is significantly smller, making it look significantly more realistic in first person. Makes it tough to find items in rooms when standing close, but ads to atmosphere IMO
