Blessing: Transform one of your cards (change one card into a random new one). CD: 6 combats
In combat:
Discipline: Restore health equal to 50% of damage dealt (lasts 2 turns). CD: 2 combats.
Prayer: Speed: Get 1 extra turn. CD: 3 combats
  • Use Blessing to get rid of weak or unwanted cards like: Basic Attack, Mana, Prank, Freeze cards.
  • Use Discipline to sustain and gain back HP. The healing effect lasts for 2 turns so plan your moves accordingly.
  • Use Prayer to save yourself from a potential deadly turn from the enemy. The value of 1 extra turn when playing on Nightmare is immeasurable.
BLESSINGS

You're gonna need lots of MP to use SPELL CARDS continuously.

The way I see it, this is the best blessing for any class when playing against Nightmare difficulty. Most of the time you will barely make it out alive with just a few HP left. The fights sometimes are straight up UNFAIR when you don't have enough maximum HP.

Full name: Recruitment Of Believers -> more prayer cards in battle will guarantee the enemies won't be able to escape once the countdown reaches 0. The only problem is getting to that point.

You don't really need more DMG with Nun, this class uses PRAYER CARDS and CONFESSIONS to deal MASSIVE DMG. You want to stay alive longer since it will take a while for you to build up necessary DMG. You are a TIMED BOMB, remember that.
EQUIPMENT

  • UPGRADED Confessions gives you a LVL 2 Confession each turn
-> you will deal 4 PIERCING DMG at the start of 2nd turn, 8 DMG at 3rd turn
-> the effect will keep on stacking forever (assuming you have enough MP to play it each turn)
  • Life Talisman is a must have equipment when dealing with enemies that can applied BURNED or POISONED DMG to you. You will only get DMG from them DURING YOUR TURN. And this one negates that totally.
  • Depends on your enemies, you can switch between Life Talisman and Demon Blades (Demon Blades can deal up to 11 DMG each turn since 11 is your MAX LVL)

  • I didn't buy Divine Portrait in my playthrough, but now I realize I should have done so. It has the perfect effect that can help me deal with LATE GAME ENEMIES way easier.
  • This card only SPAWNS IN chapter 3 in most of my playthrough.
  • It works best if you have A LOT OF PRAYER CARDS in the battlefield.
-> For example, you have 20 of them in play, by using PIETY x GOSPEL (reduce CD of all PRAYER CARDS by 3 turns) or any other cards that reduce the CD of the prayer cards, you can get up to 60 Penance (or more if you have the blessing Moonlight Enlightens)
  • Moonlight Enlightens effect: When you use prayer cards, the timer automatically speeds up by 1.
  • 60 Penance = 60 PIERCING DMG at the start of your next turn.
  • It's kinda hard to decide between Secret Drug of Hermit and Moonlight Enlightens for Little Red Nun.
->Secret Drug of Hermit gives you more HP to sustain long battles, Moonlight Enlightens gives you more DMG but the downside of it is how are you going to put in play that many PRAYER CARDS? There is no guarantee you will draw the cards that can SPEED UP the process right away.

CARDS

Every class has a core DMG card somewhere and this is the one for Little Red Nun.

This card plays all PRAYER CARDS you own to the battlefield. Combined with BLESSING Recruitments Of Believers for maximum effect.

PRAYER CD REDUCE CARDS
My favorite combo is PIETY X GOSPEL

return them to your hand.

SPELL CARDS
Keep in mind that several cards in this list are RECOMMENDED, they don't appear in my video.

All possible combinations:
  • 15 HP & 3 CARDS
  • 15 HP & 10 PIERCING DMG
  • 15 HP & 15 ARMOR
  • 3 CARDS & 10 PIERCING DMG
  • 3 CARDS & 15 ARMOR
  • 10 PIERCING DMG & 15 ARMOR

You can stack this one up

Unlocked from completing achievement A Snap (Exile 20 cards in a combat)

You can combine this with ABILITY Discipline to reduce the DMG taken next turn from the enemy.

This one doesn't protect you from POISONED DMG at all, so much for IMMUNITY FROM ALL DMG -> Still better to have it in your deck than not having it at all.

Activates the effect of your Confession at your turn right away. Don't have to wait till the start of your next turn.

This card will save your life many times in the future.

Try to increase your Confession as much as possible before using this card. If you have 60 Confession, it will deal 60 PIERCING DMG and give you back 60 HP.

ACTION CARDS

Use it as soon as possible, the EXTRA ARMOR is always a plus.

Helpful in all situations. You just have to think about the perfect card that fits your current scenario to take from your deck though.

There are lots of powerful EXILED CARDS. Choose wisely.
TIPS
When LEVELING UP or using WITCH APOTHECARY:
  • increases your Equipment Slots, HP (yes, we still need HP even though we already have Secret Drug Of Hermit)
  • 2 AP should be good enough.

END GAME

  • This effect stacks up. On the 1st turn, if you don't deal enough DMG to him, it will keep on increasing until you can't contain his power anymore. Even if you somehow reduce the counter to 0, IT WILL STILL KEEP ON INCREASING, LIKE SERIOUSLY WTF???

  • The DEVs know it will take Nun quite a while to reach her potential DMG, yet they throw in this one to overwhelm you. Nun is definitely not a class you can deal MASSIVE DMG early on, it takes times to build her up.
->This passive right here is why I recommend going for Secret Drug Of Hermit. Otherwise, how can you deal enough DMG to reduce the counter to 0 and still manage to stay alive?

  • The fight with Forest Spirit mostly depends on LUCK, if you can get EXTRA TURN from Magic Pocket Watch, you will be able to defeat him easier.

  • Now I don't have Divine Portrait in my video, so I was struggling with him. Remember not to make the same mistake I did and buy it. The fight should be way easier if you follow this tip.

As always, check out my video if you are stuck somewhere:

"This one doesn't protect you from POISONED DMG at all, so much for IMMUNITY FROM ALL DMG -> Still better to have it in your deck than not having it at all."
Again, poison damage actually happens at the start of your turn, after this effect has worn off. However, in this case you're Nun; Life Talisman will negate that for you.

still have no idea what is the meta playing with mechanic - soul hunter with apothecary the most broken classes imho, equipped with lantern you can easily heal yourself and do a lot of damage.

- You can check out this page right here: https://night-of-the-full-moon.fandom.com/wiki/Achievements_and_How_to_Get_Them

This might help you with Midas achievement, I haven't unlocked that one yet, I still have about 9 left, some of them aren't even hard, I'm just lazy.

- As for Forest Spirit, if you notice, you can actually get to fight him while playing on lower difficulty, (Hard I to Hard VII), it should be a lot easier rather than facing him on Nightmare. I haven't unlocked that one yet, I'm still struggling with Mechanic & Soul Hunter class. Can't seem to beat Forest Spirit on Nightmare with these 2.
