Skaar Ravaged Base

Description
(BA CPU Tier 4, Class 20, Unlock Level 25, Version 1.x)

Roles: Main Base HQ, Farm, Storage, Large Hanger bay, Production, Shield, Teleporter.

This is a modified version of the Skaar Ravager created by the talented Darth Zaphod as part of the Skaar series of designs that jrandall created.

The layout has not changed, much. I just converted the CV into a BA then made sure all the incompatible blocks were removed and/or replaced with appropriate blocks for a base. Take a look at the original work for general pictures of the layout.

A list of the changes made.
>All weapons were removed, as I have found that my space bases have rarely ever been attacked.
>One furnace and two deconstructor was added to the "Engineering Room" that used to house an XL Thruster.
>The main bridge has been converted into the station commander's private quarters.
>All the areas on the base outside of the hangar are all air tight.
>The Harvest Storage has been changed to the Furnace/Deconstructor Bay
>The Ammo Bay is now for storing your fleet's SV, HV & CV spare ammo.
>Solar panels added to provide the main source of power for the base.
NOTE: It is best to spawn this within 6 AU of your star for the best energy output performance.
>Some minor cosmetic changes in the crew area.

UPDATE: The entire base is now airtight, including the hangar bay!
UPDATE 2: Added additional capacitors and some cosmetic changes.

Pictures listed are of specific areas that I changed.
This is still largely done, but I will update as I find and fix any issues I come across.

Thanks again goes to Darth Zaphod for such an incredible design. He is listed is a co-designer since, well 99% of this is still his design!!

This is what I did to make the CV a BA:
1. Use the console DI command and get your CV ID number.
2. Save and Exit game.
3. Go to the save file for your game, make a backup copy of the save directory, then to the Shared subdirectory.
4. Find a file and a folder that start with CV_Player_ followed by the ID from step 1.
5. The file is a txt file so open it in an editor like Notepad++
6. Change every "CV" to "BA", save and rename the file CV_Player_ followed by the ID.
7. Rename the subdirectory CV_Player_ + ID to BA_Player_ + ID.
8. Run the game and load the save you just modified.

While in creative, you then have to remove everything that is CV specific. So all thrusters, the CPUs, pilot seat, etc... Everything that is specific to a CV has to be removed if you want it to be a valid BP to spawn in a game.

I'm curious how you made it register as a Base instead of Capital Ship. Something with changing the type of Core installed?
