That shouldn't be the exact answer. Here is the better and corrected version for your fix/suggestion.

You don't need to make it blast resistant, You can disable friendly fire, and for optional you can disable the debris only from the weapons it has. But you don't have to, And since the grenades can possibly move it when close at ~ 60 - 200 newtons, matters of it's weight. You can make the force from it's weapon not affect itself.
