The cc trinket thing, if you do get a trinket through that, is fine. CC trinkets are a bore to collect anyways so another way to get them is good.
Currently I'm working on a swine monster pack with an artist and a couple animators and its coming along great.
Anyway, I also noticed that your version of the com_crocodile still has the code to drop CC trinkets on death, don't know if it works on farmstead but the original dlc doesn't have this line of code in.
Either way, thx for the quick fix and welcomed back. All the best for you and hope to see more great work from you.
I've uploaded a fix so that doesn't happen in endless anymore. You'll still see the reworked croc there, but he will now clear the bushes on death.
2. The hard way, here I try and get the modded crocodile in the farmstead to work.
Go to the mod folder and find the H crododile at:
\monsters\crocodile\crocodile_H
Find crocodile_H.info, edit the line:
skill: .id "submerge" ... "croc_faux_change_6" ...
Change the "croc_faux_change_6" to "croc_faux_change_3"
Go to the folder bush_M at:
\monsters\bush\bush_M
Edit the line that says:
life_link: .base_class "crocodile"
Chage the class from "crocodile" to "com_crocodile"
Go to to the mod folder at:
\monsters\com_crocodile\com_crocodile_D
Edit the com_crocodile_D.info on the line:
skill: .id "submerge" ... "croc_faux_change_3" ...
Change the "croc_faux_change_3" to "croc_faux_change_6" .
Save and remember, always backup your saves.
So I just faced the same problem.
So, there 2 completly untested and totaly unprofessional ways to solve this problem, developed by someone that has no modding experience and plays fast and losse with the integrity of their save files, ME. (Be sure to backup your saves, just in case)
1. The easy way, you can get back to original Crocodile just for the farmstaed. To do that you need to find the workshop folder for the mod at:
\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\262060\2276973973
Next, open the modfiles.txt on any text editor (I use notepad++), there you need to delete 2 lines:
monsters/com_crocodile/com_crocodile_D/com_crocodile_D.art.darkest 860
monsters/com_crocodile/com_crocodile_D/com_crocodile_D.info.darkest 1880
Once done, you delete the com_crocodile folder inside the mosters folder. And finaly, you pray that it works.
Hi, i enjoy a lot of your mods and the creativity in it in my current playtrough so thx.
As for the Crocodilian Rework there is an issue because the version will spawn in the farmstead and once you killed it, the vegetation will remain unbeateable and force you to retreat sabotaging your run (because reeds are the real OP boss right ;D ). So i think you should make the vanilla crocodilian to spawn in the farmstead instead of this one or fix the auto-death (lifelink) of the reeds minions after Croc killing for the farmstead.
