Description

[buymeacoffee.com]

Description
A simple mod that controls the population.

This mod helps reduce late game lag.

<Before>

<After>

Creates a decision to control the population. To control the population, you need to start decision.

If the population exceeds the specified value, the characters are randomly get plague or die.

Characters to die are not completely random. Characters to die are generally unimportant characters. Characters such as lords, heirs, or lords with no heir are less likely to die. So the game doesn't change much.

If the current population is already high, it will take some time to get it under control. Please be patient. In the meantime, the game may slow down a bit.

For the sake of the player's happiness, there is no population control in place for players and their courts.

Pinned characters do not die by default. So, if you have a character you don't want to die, pin them.

It says "suddenly vanished" for me, which helps keep track of it.

Though I think faded into obscurity feels more in line with CK3 or roleplay

Great mod and super helpful!

I will say, I agree with an earlier comment, it would be super thematic if instead of just dying the character had a “Faded into Obscurity” or something similar.

Smoker Lung, if this is the case, you may need to do a little leg work of you own before you push the button. Identify any characters you think are essential, and then pin them. That should prevent them from the purge.
