Mobile Asteroid Mining Ship -MAMS01 Completed

This ship is a work in progress designed for PVE. The primary focus of this ship is to be able to strip mine an asteroid of any ore that it contains. With this in mind, the ship has 6 large cargo containers and 6 refineries with yield modules. The ship also has a total of 8 O2/H2 generators, this is so that it can mine ice and turn it into hydrogen fairly quickly.

This ship can act as a fuel carrier (Hydrogen) and refueling ship for other ships.

This was tested in a dedicated server in PVE where it mined just over 1 million KG of gold in about 30 minutes.

All of it's components have been completed with this version.

Deployment of the mining arm works very well and it's 21 drills makes quick work of any asteroid ore deposit. The only catch with this mining system is setting the rotor back to it's zero point, the only way I found to do that is set both upper limit and lower limit to zero. When you do that it shakes a bit, but does settle down after about a minute. Other than that it performs flawlessly.
