Sineaco Comet

Description
Key characteristics: Multirole naval fighter, shield, warp-capable, highly maneuverable, hardened steel plating, full set amenities

Sineaco Comet is a series of standard issue multirole naval fighters of Kinnator Navy (KN). The Model FN-40, in particular, was designed for compactness able to fit in all post-2460 destroyers, cost-effectiveness suitable for mass production, and modernization over the previous generation. Excellent in maneuverability, plated in hardened steel effective against low-to-medium caliber AA guns, further protected by another layer of polarized shield, and carrying 12 weapon ports. The fighter excels both in dogfight and delivering devastating blow to all but AA-oriented warships and installments. Per standard, Comet is also equiped with full set amenities for pilot's survival in emergency.

The development of Comet was partly due to the uneconomic, overly large and complex Attacker Kiera series, whose highly successful career have yet to contributed as much strategic value in macroscopic view. While Kiera can put far greater pressure against heavy targets, Comet instead vastly enhanced Carrier Battle Groups' ability to suppress multiple targets simultaneously with roughly 4-fold the number that can be carried in the same space. Interestingly, Comet was introduce after the expensive Kiera in 2455 owing to the old doctrine that favors heavy armor as much as the maneuverability. The changing trend starting in 2460s saw less emphasize on the physical armor in many designs, although still relatively heavy for many factions.

Like most Artifacts of Kinnator, Comet is infused with mysterious form of energy that alters its physical appearance by engraving peculiar glowing pattern onto its body. The fruit of the incorporated Legacy technology referred by the Talon as 'Magick'.

the image with them on the deck makes me wish we could use these as drones on a carrier they would attack and return if alive
