G530-G538 G Class - Flatbeds (16)

Today none of the G class locomotives in service use their original livery - the fleet was sold off to various logistics companies after the freight division of V/Line was privatised. This recreation presents both G530 and G538 in their present liveries. G538 was operated by Freight Australia, was later purchased by Pacific National, but retains the defunct company's livery.

The locomotives pull a train of 16 flatbed wagons (based on the VFTX wagon) carrying ISO shipping containers in 40' and 20' varieties, liquid tankers, as well as logs and long metal tubes. These use the Trailer Variation Loader mod to reflect the cargo of the train. It also auto-reverses the locomotive in the direction of travel.

Rather than stick with the "goods" and "materials" distinction I've just referred directly to the kind of wagon they pull. These are the same wagons from my earlier G class trains, shuffled in a different order.
