Unofficial Balance Patch

Description
Rebalances a number of cards and champion paths in the game to provide a more interesting set of choices throughout a run instead of funneling players into the same winning options every time.

The primary goal of this mod is to diversity the list of viable strategies at all covenant levels, moving away from singular clan-defining builds that work every run and allowing you to experiment more with different units and spells while still being capable of winning the game. Myself and others like me with thousands of hours in this game have found that many strategies are ineffective or require inordinate highrolls to be viable at the highest levels of play. To keep the game enjoyable, I’ve rebalanced these strategies to make them flow better from all points and compare better against existing, effective builds.

This mod has been balanced with The Last Divinity DLC in-mind.

what was the mod to turn progression back on is that one still updated ?

Do you know what it is called? I couldn't find it on Workshop.

As a side note, Marshlord path seems......odd. Was there a need to change it?

I think there is actually another mod that can be used with this to turn progression back on with it, but yeah. Glad you like it!

Very solid job with the re-balance. It is refreshing to see 3 cards offered, and all 3 being interesting to choose from.

I have watched the full video you made with Voyix and the others (the one about Champion paths, as well as the one on Starters, and the full 5 hour video Voyix did with Cranberry on all cards), and it was super fun. It's nice to see more champions actually be playable. Shame progression is closed with this mod, since I would be down to play with it 100% of the time.

Is there a version of this mod that functions right before the Last divinity launched? Like, right before the DLC launched, with the alternate champions and such? I kinda dislike what was added to the DLC, I thought it was too gimmick.

Kannst Du die Mod so ändern, das die Karten in deutsch bleiben und nur die Werte ändern.
Einige Karten sind in englisch umgewandelt worden. Ich verstehe leider kein englisch.
Translate with DeepL.
Can you change the mod so that the maps remain in German and only change the values.
Some maps have been converted into English. Unfortunately, I don't understand English.

The mod is built around the DLC, so I think it is valuable, yes.

Does the DLC valuable thanks to this patch or still to much meta breaker?

That's actually a funny bug in that it exists in the base game but carries over to infusions in the mod that give stats. I'll have to look into it; thanks for reporting!

I found a pretty big bug, pun intended. If you infuse Keeper of Echoes onto a Kinhost Vessel then every time it inspires it triggers the Kinhost Vessel's summon ability. I'm currently giving my entire floor +10/+10 and +1 size for every echo every time it inspires. I have a video of it if you need.
