RICLM 2-6-2 Heavy Prairie

This fictional steam locomotive was designed by the Rekman Industrial & Commercial Locomotive Manufacturers in 1910. This locomotive was introduced at the same time as the RICLM’s less powerful model, the Light Prairie. The tandem release would go on to preface many similar releases of RICLM steam locomotives. This particular model of Prairie was intended as a mixed use locomotive, but it rarely saw any passenger service due to the small piloting truck.

This locomotive runs on 7u (standard gauge) track and has a front rope coupler height of 3u and a rear coupler height of 3.5u. The gauge on the front of the firebox displays the theoretical speed and the gauge on top of the firebox displays the theoretical power. It can be driven sitting down or standing up. In both scenarios, there are two buttons to increase or decrease the speed with a button or lever to zero out the smart engine. The wheel on the side of the cab, or the invisible switch in the seat, is used to switch the forward and backward inputs into buttons that increase and decrease the power. Detach the magenta barrier blocks and re-attach the locomotive and tender using the rope coupler on the tender. Release the temporary brake to move.

Right Pipe Button: Accelerate Backward

Gray Lever: Brake (Temporary)

Red Lever: Brake (Full Stop)

Red Wheel: Switch between adjusting speed and adjusting power

Gray Pull Button: Whistle

Yellow Pull Button: Bell

Yellow Dial: Headlight
