Rylor Knights

Description
Rylor Knights are a powerful and dense faction designed to be a formidable yet aesthetically pleasing late game enemy.

I haven't balanced their guns yet, but they shouldn't be too far above the average mod strength.
(The preview image was a temporary image that I forgot to replace, and it's too funny to fix now)

Features
Rylor Knights feature a wide variety of hull shapes (similar to Junkers, my other mod) as well as a huge weapon lineup. Each weapon has three classes with slight variation on the same general weapon type. This allows for a wide range of playstyles and ship designs.

Rylor Knights also have strong economic features, with resource generators and healing lasers. Their power generation takes the form of solar panels however, which have low health and are not space efficient.

Weapons
Rylor Knights have 12 types of weapons with 22 weapons total to play with. Listing all 22 will be very lengthy so I'll just describe the general style of each type:

  • Hyper Guns - A focus on near-instant travel speed to the target
  • Royal Guns - Lots of area damage over time
  • Dynasty Missiles - Slow but strong missiles
  • Ultimatum Guns - Spinal guns that are powerful but have low range or velocity
  • Neo Lasers - Lasers that speed up damaged allies (Or yourself if you have less mass than your target)
  • Station Laser - Healing laser with a small speed booster
  • Xenoflail - A physics based melee weapon. You can swing it around at your enemies. Protip: Use decouplers to turn them into slings
  • Welding Arms - Short ranged healing arms designed for stations to build ships incredibly fast
  • Denial Orb - Fires an orb that shoves targets and absorbs projectile damage
The first five types have three classes each to pick from. Most weapons have additional stats in their descriptions.

Balancing and Feedback
I didn't spend much time balancing these outside of a general guideline, so if anybody has any concerns please let me know and I'll address them. This applies to bugs or general changes as well, I'm open to constructive criticism.

They have more durability than terran, and the weapons felt pretty fair when I played them. Are you playing against modded factions, or vanilla?

Honestly this faction is lacking power, like a lot. Hull feels like tin foil and the weapons do barely enough damage to work. very aesthetically pleasing though.
Still fun, just needs to be stronger.
