I'd say that a good captain would deactivate the autoturrets when people go out for their safety, but at this point, seems like it's just the sea's hatred of automation.
As for the discharge coils, they all seem to work properly, though they will still shock if there's a monster nearby (without a human in the range of the same detector though, it works by the same principle as the coilguns). They are pretty powerful, as the shocks go farther than you'd expect, maybe that's why you got shocked as well?
By the way, I fixed the friendly fire in V.2.4, so update it if it isn't updated!
I went over all the motion detectors. Basically, I have motion detectors that ONLY detect humans, and they deactivate the relay where the panoptes system's circuit passes through right before connecting to the coilgun itself. Honestly, they are all wired and set properly, it makes no sense why sometimes the turrets shoot you (they literally have no input from anywhere and they still shoot you).
The main feature of the sub is the automatic systems and all of the announcement systems. It's also what makes the sub have so many components. Sadly if I remove them, it just becomes a normal sub, and unless a great majority of people want that, I don't feel like it'd do my creation justice to remove what makes it special. Thank you for the consideration though!
