The modders have diverging visions of what the mod should be and how balance should be archieved. This leads to no clear structure in modding decisions, which in turn leads to thigs being broken for multiple iterations of the mod.
When roach Soviet (no tanks, tons of good inf, high air) became viable, it was played for like 5 games in a row and won every time, because modders couldn't agree on a way to fix it, even tho there are plenty of ways (manpower cap, stability and war support penality for casulties, cap rubber so they cant go high on air and have to put factories on other stuff)
Japan is also super broken when played by a good player, to the point where they just take over the game and do a world conquest in late 41.
Desertroad is also bemitleidenswert.
This mod is silly
