SRA DXT Power Car MkII

1.0 Release

In the 1970s, the Stormworks Rail Authority set out to buy new regional trains to replace ageing rolling stock.
The result was the low-tech but reliable DXT.

This version is a purely aesthetic "MkII" facelift, focused on improving driver visibility.

The DXT (Diesel eXpress Train) entered service in 1982. It is a derivative design of the British High Speed Train, though built off the frame of the already-existing Sprinter railcar. The front end of the Sprinter frame was given the iconic shape of the British HST, widened for the generous loading gauge of the area, and the engine was downrated for increased cooling capacity.

Cruising at 160km/h across the harsh & corrosive environment, the DXT revolutionised regional travel and is still in service to this day.

To start:
1. Turn on the systems key on the wall behind the driver's seat
2. Turn on the engine using the key on the right.
3. Turn on the breakers for the electric motors & controls.
4. Turn the control key on the left.

To reverse, hit the button that says "reverse".
