Dnutt's Sword of Omens Katana Replacement

Kill zombies with the Sword of Omens.

Replaces the katana.

Eye, blade, and handle gems all glow in the dark, and the entire sword gets bloody as you cut down infected (or your teammates) with it.

Other eyecandy such as envmap and bump map/specular effects (i.e. the shiny) won't be visible unless your shader settings are set to High or Very High under Options>Video>Advanced.

Now with greatly increased texture quality. =D


Uses it's own HUD icon, so it may conflict with other melee HUD icon mods.

Slight increase to damage and decrease in swing delay.

The handle clips with the survivors left hand when idle because katanas = curved handle. Not much I can do except maybe make a Bat version or something, or an animation tweak/replacement.


Permission is given to decompile and modify the meshes, textures, and scripts and whatever, so long as no profit is made and this package or it's original/edited contents are not sold or resold.

I spent a lot of time making this from scratch and you're getting it for free. Keep it free, keep it fun.

Make your own mods from it, or just make your own improvements to it.

Credit is nice, but not necessary.
