Numbered Slope Icons

Description
This is an unusually simple mod that replaces the slope construction arrows with numbers, so you have an idea of what you're doing. The arrow up and down have also been replaced with + and - to fit the mathematical theme.

Bonus: Slopes above 4 and below -4 now also have icons*! So whenever someone creates a rail which can go vertically, you don't have to suffer from purple squares.

*Only up to 8 and -8 though, I doubt you'd need more.

Known Bug(s):
  • Numbers will show mirrored when dragging road/track the other way, I'll see what can be done about it.

Any suggestions? please do not hesitate, these are easy to make, and if you want some fancy icons somewhere, I'd be glad to help you.

@Cat, same as I said to Dourbracken. It is not possible to change the icons references by the game, this simply replaces them with numbers, no other mechanics. Meaning you won't get fractions, sadly.

quick note: in the last picture you can see I have besically all the contents of the mod (excluding mod.lua, workshop_oreview.jpg and image_00.tga), so you can see that there aren't fractions there.

What happens when you use shift, will it show intermediate steps. I don't have a problem counting from 1 to 4, but when using shift to get smaller steps is when I have a problem keeping track.

I just tested it, and it does work! thanks ever so much.

It should... this one simply changes the icons the game references, unless Vacuum Tube made it reference different icons (which I doubt is possible), there shouldn't be any problems.

Only problem I can see if the numbers not changing consistently if the slope "jumps" were changed (like 1-1-2-3-3), but you would've had the same problem with regular arrows.

Very nice! Does this match up with slope percent mods like vacuum tube's?
