cool maps

A pretty nice map set but, I still feel like the 1st level is better than second despite it offered a cool premise and unique look. It's worth playing, regardless.

Though definitely much better than the author's first release (Wotan), this two-part mission was originally released as a single map (Clonewar 2044) with the other map (Clonewar Village) tacked on later, so the build quality and gameplay differs between the said parts. First map is the better half: a twenty-minute semi-open firefight in a lovely-built and well-lit evening village (in which all the houses are explorable) spiced up with a good amount of scripting for additional surprises. The second map is the future half: a ten-minute straight rush into the a futuristic facility to find and destroy the titular cloning device. Though the premise and the look is unique (reminded me slightly of the futuristic levels found within the obscure game Mortyr 2093 - 1944), the gameplay is not as good as the first half since it consists of following a single path with minimal amount of resources while battling harder enemies. Still, worth playing for the first part alone.
