Move the Steamapps folder out of C: \Program Files\Steam to keep game installations

Click the Windows start button and select control Panel or press the Win + R keyboard shortcut. In the window that opens, under the name "Run", enter the word "control" and click "OK".

Open the Add or Remove Programs dialog
Step 5
Select Steam from the list and click the "Change/Remove" button
Step 6
Select the Automatic option and click Next
Step 7
Click Finish to uninstall Steam
