[IFA3] Volkhov Front - Part 1 'Jimmy's Debut'

*Note* Read the ingame tasks as they give you vital information. The year is 1946 and the Allies are conducting joint military maneuvers as reductions of force take place across the country. During a Soviet, American operation a guerilla force of ex Wermacht forces attempt to sabotage Soviet rail lines along the old Volkhov front.

While an understrength Soviet platoon holds the center of the trench the better equipped American platoon holds the left. Ensure the American forces hold as any form of retreat from the trenches back to friendly forces is through the railtrack area.

You play as 1st Lieutenant Jimmy John, The fastest runner in your West Point class. As XO of Able Company you find yourself surrounded by frozen, bitter men that were ready to go home 2 years ago after they landed in Normandy. You missed the landings and only recently arrived to the unit shortly after the surrender of Germany. Determined to prove yourself to your men and your commander, defeat is not an option.

2LT Gleeson, the brand new platoon leader is on the line with his platoon sergeant Mannery. Make sure to give him some encouraging words while you move through the line

the Company 1SG and your radioman will move through the lines with you, try not to get them killed Lieutenant!

You have a QRF platoon on standby through the alpha radio command, because of the terrain their DZ is right ontop of your line, ensure the DZ is secure before dropping those troopers!

Once the German attack has been repelled Command wants you to find and destroy the German headquarters east of our location. Watch out for enemy OPs!

This is my First Mission so I would really appreciate feedback and if you would like to see a continuing campaign! I didnt include an end mission script and im sorry about that. I also tried to keep the mission low pop to keep FPS at a decent rate for the average PC. Good luck!
