SLI Richelieu SS

We here at St.Laurent Industries are proud to announce a new addition to the “Richelieu” family which is our inaugural line of mid-engined compact and subcompact cars. The 2 door performance oriented hot hatchback “Richelieu SS” has been reworked from the ground up by our Motorsport brand for focus on track and rally performance.



The Richelieu SS utilises a lowered longitudinally mounted mid-engine layout which has the huge benefits of having near perfect 50/50 weight distribution, extremely low COM and a stable ride. It also has made use of new building techniques to maximize weight savings which has kept the weight under 500kg (in game editor mass) and in turn has benefited its handling and acceleration characteristics. In order to minimize wheel spin we have governed the car to a top speed of 212 km/h. This allows for a perfect combination of handling and top speed which makes our car uniquely suited to stage rally events.



Our complex drivetrain assembly which has been constricted down to fit into the ultra-small chassis of the Richelieu SS is a mono-clutch 2 speed automatic with reverse and idle. In order to minimize wheel spin we have governed the car to a top speed of 212 km/h. This allows for a perfect combination of handling and top speed, this combined with the radical changes in the set up and location of the engine we have manufactured space to allow for increased fuel capacity which combined with our tried and tested gearbox makes our car uniquely suited for stage rally events.
