Lore


It has always been said that this place radiated a strong spiritual energy. Its frozen weather could be the origin of such an energy. Witches, Hunters... both of them tried to get control of it. And, as days, weeks and months passed, it turned into a deadly and bloodly battlefield: An abandoned village, a snowy forest, a cold graveyard, a shipwreck, a ruined bridge... Now, witches and hunters prepare for their final battle and the victory that will seal the fate of this land! Hunters? Preparing an evil plan in their well-hidden refuge! Witches? Well... they plan to do what they do best: use magic and illusions to drive hunters mad! Find out more about this world full of secrets. Bring to light the destiny of these two rival clans. Discover... Northern Whispers!

  • This map is designed for 16 players
  • Compatible with: Mobification, Hide and Seek and Hunt a Hag

Map information

  • Props: 906
  • Structures: 1999
  • Work hours: 50-60h~ (my GF would say "Waaay too much!")
  • Made by me, Carpenter Brut (except the campfire, designed by my GF! :P)
  • Various internal tests + 3 public tests with different people from Discord (thank you to all testers for your valuable feedbacks and ideas)

Final words

This was a challenge to make this map, but I enjoyed every moment of it.
At first, I thought it would be small and quite fast, but the more I spent time on it, the more I wanted to make it bigger and add more details (and I could probably add a few more, but now I'm out of structures!).
The creative mode is really interesting, simple & efficient, I'm really surprised by the different possibilities it offers!

Witches, Hunters, I hope you will have fun on this map!

I have to agree with Exe on this map. Although I think some locations are a tiny bit messy such as the frozen rocks in the centre of the map, overall this map has a great amount of space for gameplay with a perfect blend of small sections and wide-open spaces. I feel that it fits perfectly into the current way Witch it is played and will work great with the new abilities coming in the next update. I'd also be surprised if this didn't land it's self a spot among the winning entries.

You've seriously outdone yourself on this one... simply incredible work and presentation across the board. I don't want to jump the gun since it's too early, but I'll be surprised if this doesn't find a spot among the winning entries.
