Description
Hello folks,

If you like my work, don't forget to rate and feel free to comment, your feedbacks are very important to me.

“Men of genius are meteors destined to burn to light up their century.”

This time is something very special for me, one of the greatest figure of all times Napoléon Bonaparte.

Napoléon has become a worldwide cultural icon who symbolizes military genius and political power. He is described by many as "the most competent human being who ever lived". The heritage he left after his death can be found under the form of the thousands of streets, towns, and ships, that proudly arbour his name; the French Foreign Legion; and most of modern European justice has been greatly inspired by his Civil Code. He has also been portrayed in hundreds of thousands of books, articles, films, and even cartoons, that together help make his legend live, even 200 years after his death.

The original equestrian statue of "La prairie de La Rencontre", in Laffrey in Isère, is a bronze made by the sculptor Emmanuel Frémiet in 1867, which commemorates the meeting between the Emperor returning from exile from Elba Island and the troops royalists, March 7, 1815. The pedestal is made and imagined by me.

Credits goes to Loïc Norgeot that blessed us with this amazing statue in Sketchfab.

Special thanks to Raccoon for his habitual kindness and help.
Special thanks goes also to EmperialElba for the screenshots and to Maxime2001 for his supports.

You can search for it in findit mod by "Empereur" or "statue".

Many more coming soon so stay tuned.

@Norddeutscher Lloyd line indeed, Napoléon wasn't short ! the average in that times was 1.65m and he was 1.69m so he was over the average. What really make him look short that he was always around his imperial guard that was chosen for certain standards such tallness that was at least 1.75m and you add to this the heat that they were wearing that measures 30cm so they look 2m tall, giants in other terms. Without forgetting that the english newspapers in that time was making a large propaganda to make a fool of him.
