The great thing about Avorion ships is that you can not only view specific types of blocks (ie, cargo blocks), but also specifically transform those blocks to whatever you want (by selecting the block you want, holding alt and clicking the block you want to change)
What you want to do with a ship is usually very specific to your own play style, absolutely no ship on the workshop will be perfect to your liking for the entire play through
