It can be a different mod, if you want, with the added single ion thruster planned and with only the component provided.

Please add one ion thruster whcih to be attached to a hinge which to be attached which to be attached to a rotor which to be attached to another hinge or rotor which to be placed 3 blocks away from other parts of the ship, so we can have some ion thrust, in case we don't find ice. You can even have the ion thruster damaged but with the thruster component in it, so people would still have to repair it before using it but they wouldn't have to find rare metals (rare in-game) in order to be able to repair it and use it. This still has a thruster in every direction, but its hydro so you have limited resources, best to get to the nearest roid and setup shop there.

appreciated, that original space pod provides too much, and a thruster in every direction.
