Retro Version This is Ark Eternal as it was July 4,2017 Things will be VERY Different from the Current version that you're used to. This also means there will be bugs we hadn't fixed yet in this version.




MOD SUPPORT IS ONLY HANDLED THRU DISCORD

ARK Eternal:Retro Version
  • Updates can be viewed in the change notes tab.
  • Eternal sets Difficulty to 20, Meaning max wild dino level will be 600 if loaded first. Otherwise Set OverrideOfficialDifficulty=20 in GameUserSettings.ini. Mod is Balanced Around this!!!!.
  • This Mod will NOT be updated unless it is for bug fixes or mod stability issues
  • The above means this, unless it causes crashes and/or breaks the game then the mod will not be updated.
  • Eternal is optimized, but does not require,Using Official Maps, first priority and PvE.
  • Remember that this is something we do for fun. We dont get paid and have no obligations to anyone.

Eternal is an overhaul mod that changes a lot of features from vanilla ARK. It adds 600+ new dinos at its current state, most of them can be tamed in different ways. Some of them can be evolved from creature A to creature B. Eternal has around 30 bosses so far, some rather easy and some almost impossible to kill. It adds more difficulty and diversity. A

Eternal can be a Core Mod, meaning its designed for first priority in your load order. It is also designed with PvE in mind. If you want to use it on your PvP-server, you would have to do some serious tweaking. It is balanced for vanilla difficulty and levels.(OverrideOfficialDifficulty=20 in GUS.ini , in otherwords Max Dino level 600 wild) If you change that, your experience may differ from what Eternal is designed for. People have had success in running this mod second to mods like Pugnacia, Annuaki and Extinction. We do not encourage it though, as it could block some of Eternals content. It may work now, and then all of a sudden, when we do some changes, it may not. We do however try and design Eternal to work as a second overhaul mod.

I dont know if I'm being extra dumb here but I can't place the Eternal Workbench. Just nothing happens at all. Tried to place from hot bar and via E from Inventory. Tried googling and searching the Discord but no one else seems to have the issue :(

@derby13214 you might want to actually read the mod description in it it clearly states "This Mod will NOT be updated unless it is for bug fixes or mod stability issues" The Bigfoot is T posing because of the TLC version that wildcard did AFTER this version of the mod came out, so there WILL be things busted like that.

the souls come from immortal boss fights apparently, i can find graboid parasites anywhere tho

this is the retro version the Wiki is for the current version so some things may not exist yet in this version or may have been renamed in the live vers vs this one.

Cant find a few things, like Graboid Parasite, and the grinder it says to use in the wiki isnt available either... Also cant find anything on how to get a "Generic Soul"...

All the Argens can't be tame even with cheat code. Does anyone have the same problem ? also there are some dinos with 0 stats, when you try to tame or kill it will crash my game.
